I was hired to design and bring their new mobile app to life.
Objective and goal
A mobile app offers numerous advanced features to make drivers’s lives much easier and safer on the roads.
Users can set personal alarms, and consult storm and thunder/flood maps, and safety regulation tips. Legal safety, discounts on many services, live support, and core industry news are just a few of their main mission aspects, which help transporters be much more efficient.
What was
the approach?
Discussing needs and obstacles with end users was the best approach to define key problems to solve and connect it to the business goals.
Through the workshop sessions with the client and a bunch of questions like, What is user trying to accomplish here? What problem is this solving? Why is the screen organised this way? What’s the simpler version of this? Does this meet all functional requirements? and so on, I understood processes and needs much better, which helped me avoid assumptions and guesswork.
With the focus on the user’s needs and the business goals, and by implementing the latest design practices, we achieved an intuitive experience that covers essential features to help transporters find and manage all necessary activities they perform on a daily basics.
The app significantly contributed to user operational efficiency and provided a great value as a main assistance on the road.
